What should I do if my child is ill?

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally before 9:00 a.m. You can phone the school office on 01604 842958 and leave a message on our absence line by selecting option 1.

Please call the school every day your child is unwell.

If your child has a medical condition, they will have an Individual Healthcare Plan. Their attendance will be monitored by Miss Ridnell (Assistant Principal for Inclusion) and Miss Carter (Family Support Worker).

If your child is seriously unwell or admitted to hospital, our Pastoral Team will support you. For children who have extended hospital stays, we work closely with the hospital and outreach services to ensure continuity of learning and care.
