Parents/Carers

As part of Team Sunnyside, we strive for all pupils to be well‑rounded individuals who contribute positively to their community, now and in the future.

We believe that strong relationships with our families are key to every child’s success. We are proud of the partnership we build with parents and carers and are committed to keeping you informed, involved and valued in your child’s learning journey.

Working Together

Your child’s teacher will keep you regularly updated about learning and progress. This may be through:

  • A phone call or quick catch‑up
  • A postcard home
  • An invitation to school events or celebration assemblies

Family Engagement

We love welcoming families into school. From Phonics and Maths workshops to drop‑in afternoons where you can explore your child’s learning, these events help strengthen the home–school partnership. Our community events, especially our school fetes, have always been highlights for families and the wider community, and we look forward to hosting more of these together.
