PE and Sport Premium

The PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of physical education (PE), sport, and physical activity. The aim is to support schools in developing sustainable improvements that benefit all pupils, particularly focusing on:

  • Engaging all pupils in regular physical activity

  • Raising the profile of PE and sport across the school

  • Increasing confidence, knowledge, and skills of staff in teaching PE

  • Offering a broader experience of sports and physical activities

  • Increasing participation in competitive sport

How We Use the Funding

Our funding has been used to:

Review and Accountability
We regularly review our Sports Premium Plan and update it to reflect impact and next steps. The use of PE and Sport Premium funding is monitored to ensure it aligns with the Department for Education’s five key indicators and delivers sustainable improvements for all pupils.
